  • We all new it was going to happen sooner or later! The Club is now officially closed for the winter season. Please be advised that the safety barricades have been removed and cross country skiers have now been authorized to use the trails that skirt Club property. This means ABSOLUTELY NO SHOOTING of any kind is permitted on Club grounds until we re-open in the spring!
October 30, 2011
  • Club members P.Mooney & M. Filippi spent the better part of the day today moving the steel beams off the range, collecting all the steel silhouettes, targets and target stands from the pistol / rifle range. All items have now been secured in the storage shed for the winter in anticipation of the Club closing. These items are now off limits until the Club re-opens in the spring. Members wanting to avail of this range will now have to bring their own targets and stands for the remainder of the shooting season.
October 13, 2011
  • Thanks to the ongoing efforts of our relentless volunteers W. Pevie, P. Mooney, R. Norman, C. Hamilton, M. Filippi & C. Osmond the lighting upgrade on the Skeet Field is complete and fully operational (all this in spite of power outages, very cold, wet & windy weather and wet snow on more than one occasion). There is still some work to do to complete this task on the Trap Field so please help these guys out! They have been doing most of the work by themselves for quite some time now and would appreciate a few more bodies to speed things up!
October 1, 2011
  • With the end of another season fast approaching we will try our best to complete the outdoor lighting upgrade. Volunteers will most definitely be needed to assist in this endeavor. Shooters from all disciplines will benefit from this upgrade so please help distribute the workload by giving some time to the Club.

  • An awesome 100 Bird shoot was held this past weekend which involved a sporting course at center field, Fur & Feather, Reggie's Revenge and the Alley. All shooters had a great time and ended the day with a fantastic deep fried turkey dinner with trimmings and door prizes to boot. Top shooters for the event were S. Osborne 83, M. Filippi 79 & A Gillis 68. Don't let the scores fool you: the courses (especially the center field course) were incredibly challenging. Special thanks to the volunteers that helped set up the various courses of fire, our two trap boys that kept it all running and our two chefs B. Aucoin & A. Gillis for a great supper. Everyone had such a good time there is already talk of making this an annual event!!!
