  • The Club has now officially closed for the 2009 season. All ranges have been secured and locked down. Please refrain from accessing the grounds until we re-open in the spring.

  • The Club Executive has been working diligently as of late to resolve some of the main concerns and  unresolved  issues. A general announcement will be made shortly.
  • As a result in the changes required of us to maintain a Business Firearms License and after much deliberation the Executive has decided to offer the Club guns for sale to the membership. More details can be found on the Buy / Sell page.
October 26, 2009
  • Congratulations go out to Club member Ron Brazil who got engaged this past week-end. No date set yet  for the hangin' yet but now's yer chance to get a good deal on his guns :-)
October, 22, 2009
  • Members are needed if the annual Club bonfire is to go ahead this year. You must commit to help setting it up as well as the clean up of the remnants in the spring. Let us know ASAP!
  • Congratulations to Club member Ken Connors who is anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new family member in just a few short months! Sleep now 'cause you won't sleep after :-)  !
  • There is in excess of 30 steel targets damaged or destroyed by indiscriminate rifle fire. This is blatant disrespect of Club equipment. Individuals participating in such vandalism will have their memberships revoked.
  • The local detachment of the RNC will be renting the range from Monday, Oct 26 - Friday Oct 30 from 8am-5pm. The Club is effectively off limits to everyone during this time.
  • All non-members (even if they were past members) are subject to a $10 range fee PER VISIT. Reports indicate that there is a significant amount of people accompanied by existing members using the facilities (primarily sighting in their hunting rifles) without paying the range fee. If you are un-sure of the range regulations please read them on this site or contact any member of the executive.
  • The bulk order for  shotgun shells will be placed on Tuesday, October 27. As always a 50% cash deposit must accompany your order. Only current Club members are eligible to participate!
June 21,2009
  • We have been noticing an increase in members shooting that have still not paid their annual membership. Please ensure that your status is up to date! An expired membership does not entitle you to Club rates or fees!
June 20, 2009
  • We are looking for interested persons to look after the skeet machines! We have all taken a little too much advantage of Mr. Testu's kind disposition and always relied too heavily on him to fix everything! This is totally unfair and I support Mr. Testu's recent decision to step away from the maintenance portion of the skeet field, as he more than enough to do with the Sporting Clays portion of the Club. Volunteers (especially those Club members that shoot this discipline) should contact M. Filippi asap so we can order the parts and schedule the repairs.
June 17, 2009
  • The bulk pistol / rifle ammo order has arrived. You will be contacted shortly to come collect your ammo!
  • The annual Duathalon road race will be going ahead on Sunday, June 21. Shooters should be at the Club no later than noon as the road will be closed to all traffic  from 12:30pm - 3:30pm.
June 13, 2009
  • Congratulations to Doug Thomas who recently welcomed a new beautiful baby girl to the family! We hope to still see you at the Club between diaper changes!
June 11, 2009
  • As a result of the increasing target & freight costs we are left with no choice but to increase the price of birds. Effective immediately the new price for 25 clays is $4.00 per round. RO's please convey this to all shooters as you collect their fees!
  • We are looking at organizing a large scale shoot for early July. If we have volunteers to help we are considering a resurrection of the KOM of old (skeet, trap, sporting clays, rifle & pistol). If interested please let M. Filippi know ASAP!
June 9, 2009
  • Congratulations to S. Osborne on his recent engagement! Best of luck & get ready to be stressed out  :-)
June 6, 2009
  • Thanks go to B. Testu for fixing the bridge to the covered firing point. Thanks for the effort as well as taking the initiative!
May 28, 2009

  • Unexpected issues have delayed the bulk pistol ammo order and the shipment has stalled in Montreal. Information will be relayed as it becomes available.
  • The Club executive is reviewing the RO certification process and are looking at implementing a practical portion to compliment the written exam. An executive meeting will be held in the near future to discuss this matter at length.
  • Volunteers are needed to maintain the bird launchers at the Club.  Mr. Testu is willing to share his knowledge in the maintenance of this equipment to all interested parties. It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that newer RO's (having obtained RO certification less than three years ago) volunteer to become familiar with this part of the Club's operation. Please contact Mr. Testu ASAP!!!
May 9, 2009
  • The Club order for birds & reloading components is placed and will be en-route to us by Monday, May 11. We will be looking for help to get the birds unloaded and securely stowed at the Club.

  • The Club is getting ready to place it's bulk order for ammunition. Take advantage of the low prices now as suppliers are expecting a 20% increase in ammo pricing over the summer. Shotgun ammo is Challenger Target available in .12ga (and all sub-gauges)  in #7 1/2,  #8 or # 9 shot. The prices offered are lower than ANYWHERE else in town. Prices being offered include shipping and taxes and work out to be ~ $25 cheaper than anywhere else for 250 shells! This deal is only available to Club members. Other ammo types including pistol & rifle ammo pricing will be available shortly. Pricing to be determined depending on the quantity. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required with every order no later than April 4 . *Club members not participating in the bulk ammo order will not be able to buy ammo at reduced pricing during the shooting season.* Please send all inquiries or orders to Max Filippi 944-2192 e-mail or J.
