Directions

From Central / Western Canada travel Eastbound on the Trans-Canada Highway into Ontario. Then follow TCH 17 onto TCH 417 and continue East into Quebec towards Montreal on TCH 40.  In Southern Ontario follow TCH 401 also joining into the TCH 40 towards Montreal. At this point continue East towards Quebec City where you will exit onto Route 138 East. Continue on Route 138 thru Ste Anne, La Mal Baie, Tad Du Sac, Forrestville and Baie Comeau.

Maritimers will travel North using TCH 104, TCH 2 & TCH 11 and then cross to the North shore of the St. Laurence River. Various ferry crossing points exist but operate on different seasonal schedules. Please contact them directly for more details. Once on the North shore of Quebec locate Route 138 East and follow it thru Forestville and Baie Comeau.

Once in Baie Comeau travel North on Route 389 thru Manic 5 and Fermont. Continue Northwards towards the
Labrador border on Route 500. Follow Route 500 into Labrador City. Please note that there are many logging & freight trucks traveling between Manic 5 & Baie Comeau on Route 389 so use extreme caution when passing. Also, Route 389 is a combination of asphalt & gravel varying in duration with limited roadside services. Best fuel prices can be found in Baie Comeau so please make sure you take advantage of them before making the ~ 600 km trip along Route 389 into Labrador City.
